Watch as Miss California ruins her chances at becoming Miss USA by first evading the question and then asserting her beliefs with “strong” phrases like “I think I believe.” Now, my pageant career ended at the age of two (I won second place, thanks) but common sense tells me that your personal beliefs should stay out of the contest. Does this girl not know that the only people keeping pageants alive are girls and gays 18-35? And didn’t we all learn after first grade that starting something with “No offense” is usually meant to offend? I can think of 1500 ways to answer this question without giving my personal beliefs. You can’t tell me that this wasn’t one of the questions she rehearsed, especially coming from California.
Congrats to Miss North Carolina, you’re way hotter anyway.
